The director plans to shoot 9 episodes lasting from seven to nine minutes each. In his vision of the cult universe of Mortal Combat game, he wants to show the dark side of the most brutal character in all its glory.
Filming of Mortal Kombat: Rebirth will start later this month.
Likely to satisfy only the core audience already hooked on Mortal Kombat video and arcade games, and even that's not a sure thing.
